³⁷ Ye yourselves know what was spoken of through the whole of Judaea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism which John preached, ³⁸ relating to Jesus of Nazareth, that God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power; who went about doing good, and healing all that were overpowered by the Devil; for God was with him. ³⁹ And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they also slew by hanging him on a cross.
