וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And You shall make

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

､ עֲצֵ֣י

‘ă·ṣê

of wood ､

שִׁטִּ֑ים

šiṭ·ṭîm;

חָמֵשׁ֩

ḥā·mêš

אַמּ֨וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

､ אֹ֜רֶךְ

’ō·reḵ

long ､

וְחָמֵ֧שׁ

wə·ḥā·mêš

and five

אַמּ֣וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

– רֹ֗חַב

rō·ḥaḇ,

wide –

רָב֤וּעַ

rā·ḇū·a‘

יִהְיֶה֙

yih·yeh

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

the altar ､

וְשָׁלֹ֥שׁ

wə·šā·lōš

אַמּ֖וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

. קֹמָתֽוֹ׃

qō·mā·ṯōw.

its height [shall be] .

וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And You shall make

קַרְנֹתָ֗יו

qar·nō·ṯāw,

עַ֚ל

‘al

on

אַרְבַּ֣ע

’ar·ba‘

פִּנֹּתָ֔יו

pin·nō·ṯāw,

מִמֶּ֖נּוּ

mim·men·nū

of it

תִּהְיֶ֣יןָ

tih·ye·nā

– קַרְנֹתָ֑יו

qar·nō·ṯāw;

its horns [of one piece with it] –

וְצִפִּיתָ֥

wə·ṣip·pî·ṯā

and you shall overlay

אֹת֖וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

it

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

with bronze .

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And you shall make

סִּֽירֹתָיו֙

sî·rō·ṯāw

､ לְדַשְּׁנ֔וֹ

lə·ḏaš·šə·nōw,

to receive its ashes ､

､ וְיָעָיו֙

wə·yā·‘āw

and its shovels ､

､ וּמִזְרְקֹתָ֔יו

ū·miz·rə·qō·ṯāw,

and its basins ､

､ וּמִזְלְגֹתָ֖יו

ū·miz·lə·ḡō·ṯāw

and its forks ､

– וּמַחְתֹּתָ֑יו

ū·maḥ·tō·ṯāw;

and its firepans –

לְכָל־

lə·ḵāl

of all

כֵּלָ֖יו

kê·lāw

תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And You shall make

לּוֹ֙

for it

מִכְבָּ֔ר

miḵ·bār,

מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה

ma·‘ă·śêh

רֶ֣שֶׁת

re·šeṯ

of net

– נְחֹ֑שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ;

of bronze –

וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

and you shall make

עַל־

‘al-

on

הָרֶ֗שֶׁת

hā·re·šeṯ,

אַרְבַּע֙

’ar·ba‘

טַבְּעֹ֣ת

ṭab·bə·‘ōṯ

נְחֹ֔שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ,

עַ֖ל

‘al

at

אַרְבַּ֥ע

’ar·ba‘

. קְצוֹתָֽיו׃

qə·ṣō·w·ṯāw.

וְנָתַתָּ֣ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

And You shall put

אֹתָ֗הּ

’ō·ṯāh,

it

תַּ֛חַת

ta·ḥaṯ

כַּרְכֹּ֥ב

kar·kōḇ

the rim

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

of the altar

､ מִלְּמָ֑טָּה

mil·lə·māṭ·ṭāh;

וְהָיְתָ֣ה

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

הָרֶ֔שֶׁת

hā·re·šeṯ,

the net

עַ֖ד

‘aḏ

חֲצִ֥י

ḥă·ṣî

. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

ham·miz·bê·aḥ.

the altar .

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

And you shall make

בַדִּים֙

ḇad·dîm

､ לַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

lam·miz·bê·aḥ,

for the altar ､

בַּדֵּ֖י

bad·dê

עֲצֵ֣י

‘ă·ṣê

､ שִׁטִּ֑ים

šiṭ·ṭîm;

וְצִפִּיתָ֥

wə·ṣip·pî·ṯā

אֹתָ֖ם

’ō·ṯām

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

with bronze .

וְהוּבָ֥א

wə·hū·ḇā

And shall be put

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בַּדָּ֖יו

bad·dāw

､ בַּטַּבָּעֹ֑ת

baṭ·ṭab·bā·‘ōṯ;

in the rings ､

וְהָי֣וּ

wə·hā·yū

and shall be

הַבַּדִּ֗ים

hab·bad·dîm,

עַל־

‘al-

on

שְׁתֵּ֛י

šə·tê

צַלְעֹ֥ת

ṣal·‘ōṯ

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

of the altar ､

בִּשְׂאֵ֥ת

biś·’êṯ

. אֹתֽוֹ׃

’ō·ṯōw.

it .

נְב֥וּב

nə·ḇūḇ

לֻחֹ֖ת

lu·ḥōṯ

תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

､ אֹת֑וֹ

’ō·ṯōw;

it ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

הֶרְאָ֥ה

her·’āh

אֹתְךָ֛

’ō·ṯə·ḵā

､ בָּהָ֖ר

bā·hār

on the mountain ､

כֵּ֥ן

kên

so

. יַעֲשֽׂוּ׃

ya·‘ă·śū.

shall they make [it] .

The Courtyard

וְעָשִׂ֕יתָ

And You shall make

אֵ֖ת

’êṯ

חֲצַ֣ר

ḥă·ṣar

. הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן

ham·miš·kān;

of the tabernacle .

לִפְאַ֣ת

lip̄·’aṯ

נֶֽגֶב־

ne·ḡeḇ-

תֵּ֠ימָנָה

tê·mā·nāh

toward the south

קְלָעִ֨ים

qə·lā·‘îm

[there shall be] hangings [made of]

לֶחָצֵ֜ר

le·ḥā·ṣêr

שֵׁ֣שׁ

šêš

､ מָשְׁזָ֗ר

mā·šə·zār,

מֵאָ֤ה

mê·’āh

בָֽאַמָּה֙

ḇā·’am·māh

אֹ֔רֶךְ

’ō·reḵ,

לַפֵּאָ֖ה

lap·pê·’āh

. הָאֶחָֽת׃

hā·’e·ḥāṯ.

וְעַמֻּדָ֣יו

wə·‘am·mu·ḏāw

And its pillars [shall be]

עֶשְׂרִ֔ים

‘eś·rîm,

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֥ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

עֶשְׂרִ֖ים

‘eś·rîm

– נְחֹ֑שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ;

וָוֵ֧י

wā·wê

הָעַמֻּדִ֛ים

hā·‘am·mu·ḏîm

of the pillars

וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶ֖ם

wa·ḥă·šu·qê·hem

and their bands [shall be]

. כָּֽסֶף׃

kā·sep̄.

וְכֵ֨ן

wə·ḵên

לִפְאַ֤ת

lip̄·’aṯ

､ צָפוֹן֙

ṣā·p̄ō·wn

בָּאֹ֔רֶךְ

bā·’ō·reḵ,

קְלָעִ֖ים

qə·lā·‘îm

of [there shall be] hangings

מֵ֣אָה

mê·’āh

a hundred [cubits]

､ אֹ֑רֶךְ

’ō·reḵ;

long ､

[ועמדו]

wə·‘am·dū

-

(וְעַמּוּדָ֣יו)

wə·‘am·mū·ḏāw

with its pillars

עֶשְׂרִ֗ים

‘eś·rîm,

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֤ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

עֶשְׂרִים֙

‘eś·rîm

– נְחֹ֔שֶׁת

nə·ḥō·šeṯ,

וָוֵ֧י

wā·wê

and the hooks

הָֽעַמֻּדִ֛ים

hā·‘am·mu·ḏîm

of the pillars

וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶ֖ם

wa·ḥă·šu·qê·hem

and their bands

. כָּֽסֶף׃

kā·sep̄.

וְרֹ֤חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

And along the width

הֶֽחָצֵר֙

he·ḥā·ṣêr

of the court

לִפְאַת־

lip̄·’aṯ-

on the side

יָ֔ם

yām,

קְלָעִ֖ים

qə·lā·‘îm

[shall be] hangings

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

ḥă·miš·šîm

– אַמָּ֑ה

’am·māh;

עַמֻּדֵיהֶ֣ם

‘am·mu·ḏê·hem

with their pillars

､ עֲשָׂרָ֔ה

‘ă·śā·rāh,

ten ､

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

. עֲשָׂרָֽה׃

‘ă·śā·rāh.

וְרֹ֣חַב

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

And the width

הֶֽחָצֵ֗ר

he·ḥā·ṣêr,

of the court [shall be]

לִפְאַ֛ת

lip̄·’aṯ

on the side

קֵ֥דְמָה

qê·ḏə·māh

מִזְרָ֖חָה

miz·rā·ḥāh

toward the sunrise

חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים

ḥă·miš·šîm

. אַמָּֽה׃

’am·māh.

וַחֲמֵ֨שׁ

wa·ḥă·mêš

And five

עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה

‘eś·rêh

[and] ten

אַמָּ֛ה

’am·māh

קְלָעִ֖ים

qə·lā·‘îm

the hangings [shall be]

､ לַכָּתֵ֑ף

lak·kā·ṯêp̄;

on [one] side [of the gate] ､

עַמֻּדֵיהֶ֣ם

‘am·mu·ḏê·hem

[with] their pillars

､ שְׁלֹשָׁ֔ה

šə·lō·šāh,

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

. שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃

šə·lō·šāh.

וְלַכָּתֵף֙

wə·lak·kā·ṯêp̄

And on the side

הַשֵּׁנִ֔ית

haš·šê·nîṯ,

חְמֵ֥שׁ‪‬

ḥə·mêš

עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה

‘eś·rêh

[and] ten [cubits]

קְלָעִ֑ים

qə·lā·‘îm;

[shall be] hangings

עַמֻּדֵיהֶ֣ם

‘am·mu·ḏê·hem

of [with] their pillars

､ שְׁלֹשָׁ֔ה

šə·lō·šāh,

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

. שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃

šə·lō·šāh.

וּלְשַׁ֨עַר

ū·lə·ša·‘ar

הֶֽחָצֵ֜ר

he·ḥā·ṣêr

of the court

מָסָ֣ךְ ׀

mā·sāḵ

[there shall be] a screen [woven of]

עֶשְׂרִ֣ים

‘eś·rîm

､ אַמָּ֗ה

’am·māh,

cubits long ､

､ תְּכֵ֨לֶת

tə·ḵê·leṯ

blue ､

､ וְאַרְגָּמָ֜ן

wə·’ar·gā·mān

and purple ､

וְתוֹלַ֧עַת

wə·ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ

and

､ שָׁנִ֛י

šā·nî

scarlet [thread] ､

וְשֵׁ֥שׁ

wə·šêš

､ מָשְׁזָ֖ר

mā·šə·zār

מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה

ma·‘ă·śêh

､ רֹקֵ֑ם

rō·qêm;

made by a weaver ､

עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶם֙

‘am·mu·ḏê·hem

it [shall have] pillars

､ אַרְבָּעָ֔ה

’ar·bā·‘āh,

four ､

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

. אַרְבָּעָֽה׃

’ar·bā·‘āh.

כָּל־

kāl-

עַמּוּדֵ֨י

‘am·mū·ḏê

הֶֽחָצֵ֤ר

he·ḥā·ṣêr

סָבִיב֙

sā·ḇîḇ

מְחֻשָּׁקִ֣ים

mə·ḥuš·šā·qîm

shall have bands

– כֶּ֔סֶף

ke·sep̄,

of silver –

וָוֵיהֶ֖ם

wā·wê·hem

their hooks [shall be]

､ כָּ֑סֶף

kā·sep̄;

of silver ､

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and their sockets

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

אֹ֣רֶךְ

’ō·reḵ

The length [shall be]

הֶֽחָצֵר֩

he·ḥā·ṣêr

of the court

מֵאָ֨ה

mê·’āh

､ בָֽאַמָּ֜ה

ḇā·’am·māh

וְרֹ֣חַב ׀

wə·rō·ḥaḇ

and the width

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

ḥă·miš·šîm

､ בַּחֲמִשִּׁ֗ים

ba·ḥă·miš·šîm,

וְקֹמָ֛ה

wə·qō·māh

and the height

חָמֵ֥שׁ

ḥā·mêš

אַמּ֖וֹת

’am·mō·wṯ

שֵׁ֣שׁ

šêš

[made of] linen

､ מָשְׁזָ֑ר

mā·šə·zār;

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם

wə·’aḏ·nê·hem

and its sockets

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

לְכֹל֙

lə·ḵōl

כְּלֵ֣י

kə·lê

הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן

ham·miš·kān,

of the tabernacle

בְּכֹ֖ל

bə·ḵōl

､ עֲבֹדָת֑וֹ

‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯōw;

its service ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

､ יְתֵדֹתָ֛יו

yə·ṯê·ḏō·ṯāw

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

יִתְדֹ֥ת

yiṯ·ḏōṯ

the pegs [shall be]

､ הֶחָצֵ֖ר

he·ḥā·ṣêr

of the court ､

. נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

nə·ḥō·šeṯ.

וְאַתָּ֞ה

And you

תְּצַוֶּ֣ה ׀

tə·ṣaw·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

בְּנֵ֣י

the sons

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל

yiś·rā·’êl,

of Israel ､

וְיִקְח֨וּ

wə·yiq·ḥū

that they bring

אֵלֶ֜יךָ

’ê·le·ḵā

שֶׁ֣מֶן

še·men

זַ֥יִת

za·yiṯ

זָ֛ךְ

zāḵ

､ כָּתִ֖ית

kā·ṯîṯ

לַמָּא֑וֹר

lam·mā·’ō·wr;

לְהַעֲלֹ֥ת

lə·ha·‘ă·lōṯ

to cause to burn

נֵ֖ר

the lamp

. תָּמִֽיד׃

בְּאֹ֣הֶל

In the tabernacle

מוֹעֵד֩

לַפָּרֹ֜כֶת

the veil

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

which [is]

עַל־

‘al-

､ הָעֵדֻ֗ת

hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ,

the Testimony ､

יַעֲרֹךְ֩

ya·‘ă·rōḵ

אֹת֨וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

it

אַהֲרֹ֧ן

’a·hă·rōn

וּבָנָ֛יו

ū·ḇā·nāw

מֵעֶ֥רֶב

mê·‘e·reḇ

עַד־

‘aḏ-

בֹּ֖קֶר

bō·qer

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

– יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

חֻקַּ֤ת

ḥuq·qaṯ

[it shall be] a statute

עוֹלָם֙

‘ō·w·lām

לְדֹ֣רֹתָ֔ם

lə·ḏō·rō·ṯām,

to their generations

מֵאֵ֖ת

mê·’êṯ

בְּנֵ֥י

bə·nê

of the sons

. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

yiś·rā·’êl.
