And it came to the ears of her neighbours and relations that the Lord had been very good to her, and they took part in her joy.

And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.

She, too, came up at that very moment and began praising and giving thanks to God, and continued to speak of Him to all who were looking for the redemption and deliverance of Jerusalem.

And when the days of the feast came to an end and they were going back, the boy Jesus was still in Jerusalem, but they had no knowledge of it:

For they supposed he had been in the company, and therefore came a day's journey, and sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

Then, as they failed to find him, they came back to Jerusalem in search of him.

And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

And all to whose ears it came were full of wonder at his knowledge and the answers which he gave.

Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

And the book of the prophet Isaiah was given to him and, opening the book, he came on the place where it is said,

And behold, men [came] carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and place [him] before him.

And after these things He came out, and saw a publican, by name Levi, sitting at the toll, and He said to him, Follow me.

And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

But he had knowledge of their thoughts; and he said to the man whose hand was dead, Get up and come into the middle. And he got up and came forward.

And when day came, he summoned his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he also named apostles:

And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases, and those who were troubled by unclean spirits were cured.

he is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And [when] a flood came, the river burst against that house and was not able to shake it, because it had been built well.

But he who gives hearing, without doing, is like a man building a house on the earth without a base for it; and when the force of the river came against it, straight away it came down; and the destruction of that house was great.

When He completed all His words in the ears of the people, He came into Capernaum.

And when news of Jesus came to his ears, he sent to him rulers of the Jews, requesting that he would come and make his servant well.

And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

So the men came to Jesus and said, “John the Baptist sent us to You to ask, ‘Are You the Expected One (the Messiah), or should we look for someone else?’”

when a woman of that city, one that had led a loose life, knowing that Jesus was at table in the Pharisee's house, came in with a vial of odoriferous liquor,

and came and stood behind him at his feet, weeping, and began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with her hair, and kissed them, and put the perfume on them.

Then turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house [but you failed to extend to Me the usual courtesies shown to a guest]; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair [demonstrating her love].

And when a great multitude came together, and they of every city resorted unto him, he spake by a parable:

A farmer went out [to his field] to plant grain. And as he sowed [i.e., scattering seeds by hand], some of it landed along side of the road; it was stepped on by people and [eventually] birds of the sky came and ate it.

And other [seed] fell on the rock, and [when it] came up, it withered, because it did not have moisture.

And some went among thorns, and the thorns came up with it and it had no room for growth.

And other [seed] fell on the good soil, and [when it] came up, it produced a hundred times as much grain." [As he] said these [things], he called out, "The one who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

And the word came to him, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside; they want to see you."

Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is east of Galilee.

And when he had come to the land, there came to him a certain man from the town who had evil spirits; and for a long time he had had no clothing on, and was not living in a house but in the place of the dead.

And Jesus asked him, saying, What is the name to thee? And he said, Legion: for many demons came into him.

And the demons came out from the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd rushed down the steep into the lake, and were drowned.

And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
