for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no man should glory.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit.
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And even now the axe also lieth at the root of the trees: every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister. And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end: that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? He becometh poor that worketh with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Masters, render unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
