'Burn' in the Bible

I will turn My hand against youand will burn away your dross completely;I will remove all your impurities.

And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, will send leanness among his sturdy warriors, and a burning like [the] burning of fire will burn under his glory.

And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;

Therefore a curse devours [the] earth, and the inhabitants in it suffer for their guilt. Therefore [the] inhabitants of [the] earth burn, and {few men are left}.

Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

And peoples have been as burnings of lime, Thorns, as sweepings, with fire they burn.

It will burn night and day, and will never be extinguished. Its smoke will rise from generation to generation, and it will lie desolate forever and ever. And no one will pass through it.

And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

I will be with youwhen you pass through the waters,and when you pass through the rivers,they will not overwhelm you.You will not be scorchedwhen you walk through the fire,and the flame will not burn you.

Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

Lo, all ye kindling a fire, girding on sparks, Walk ye in the light of your fire, And in the sparks ye have caused to burn, From my hand hath this been to you, In grief ye lie down!

who burn with lust among the oaks,under every green tree,who slaughter children in the wadisbelow the clefts of the rocks?

These people continually and blatantly offend me as they sacrifice in their sacred orchards and burn incense on brick altars.
