'Gracious' in the Bible
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
for this is gracious, if because of conscience toward God any one doth endure sorrows, suffering unrighteously;
for what renown is it, if sinning and being buffeted, ye do endure it? but if, doing good and suffering for it, ye do endure, this is gracious with God,
In a similar way, you husbands must live with your wives in an understanding manner, as with a most delicate partner. Honor them as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing may interfere with your prayers.
