she called to the men of her household and said to them, “Look at this, your master has brought a Hebrew [into the household] to mock and insult us; he came to me to lie with me, and I screamed.

Then she told her husband the same story, saying, “The Hebrew servant, whom you brought among us, came to me to mock and insult me;

if I had not feared insult from the enemy,or feared that these foes might misunderstandand say: ‘Our own hand has prevailed;it wasn’t the Lord who did all this.’”

The righteous will see this and rejoice; the innocent will insult him, saying,

All of them are ashamed and indeed humiliated; [the] craftsmen of idols go together in insult.

"And I will not let you hear [any] longer the insult of the nations, and [the] disgrace of [the] peoples you will not bear [any] longer; you [yourself] will not cause your nation to stumble," {declares} the Lord Yahweh.'"
