'King' in the Bible
The kings of the earth form a united front; the rulers collaborate against the Lord and his anointed king.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
The king says, "I will announce the Lord's decree. He said to me: 'You are my son! This very day I have become your father!
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment;
The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
The Lord is alive! My protector is praiseworthy! The God who delivers me is exalted as king!
Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
Now I am sure that the Lord will deliver his chosen king; he will intervene for him from his holy heavenly temple, and display his mighty ability to deliver.
Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

{David's Psalm of praise.} I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
The Lord will be King for ever; your God, O Zion, will be King through all generations. Praise be to the Lord.
