'Voices' in the Bible

Why are the nations in an uproar [in turmoil against God],And why do the people devise a vain and hopeless plot?

LORD, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! To the Director: Accompanied by female voices. A Davidic Psalm.

O make a glad noise with your hands, all you peoples; letting your voices go up to God with joy.

Sending out their voices like lions among your worshippers; they have put up their signs to be seen.

Do not forget the [clamoring] voices of Your adversaries,The uproar of those who rise against You, which ascends continually [to Your ears].

The rivers send up, O Lord, the rivers send up their voices; they send them up with a loud cry.

Than the voices of many mighty waters, Breakers of a sea, mighty on high is Jehovah,

O come, let us make songs to the Lord; sending up glad voices to the Rock of our salvation.

Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell;They lift up their voices among the branches.
