Paul Boasts In His Sufferings

²⁹ Who is weak without my being weak? Who is led into sin without my intense concern? ³⁰ If I have to boast, I will boast of what pertains to my weakness. ³¹ The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

I Will Boast

1 Corinthians 2:3

I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling,

2 Corinthians 12:5-11

On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses.

Proverbs 25:27

It is not good to eat much honey,
Nor is it glory to search out one’s own glory.

Colossians 1:24

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.
