Deuteronomy 5:2

Basic Stipulations

¹ Then called Moses unto all Israel and said unto them - Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the regulations, which I am speaking in your ears to-day, - so shall ye learn them, and observe to do them. ² Yahweh our God, solemnised with us a covenant in Horeb: ³ not with our fathers did Yahweh solemnise this covenant, - but with us, ourselves - these here to-day, all of us living.

Deuteronomy 4:23

Take heed to yourselves lest ye forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he hath solemnised with you, - and so make for yourselves an image, the form of anything, the which Yahweh thy God hath forbidden thee;
