¹⁵ And the LORD said unto him, "Not so, but whosoever slayeth Cain shall be punished sevenfold." And the LORD put a mark upon Cain that no man that found him should kill him. ¹⁶ And Cain went out from the face of the LORD, and dwelt in the land Nod, on the east side of Eden. ¹⁷ And Cain lay with his wife, which conceived and bare Enoch. And he was building a city and called the name of it after the name of his son, Enoch.
