6
“For behold, I am (A)raising up the Chaldeans,
That (a)fierce and impetuous people
Who march (b)throughout the earth
To (c)(B)seize dwelling places which are not theirs.
7
“They are dreaded and (C)feared;
Their (D)justice and (d)authority (e)originate with themselves.
8
“Their (E)horses are swifter than leopards
And (f)keener than (F)wolves in the evening.
Their (g)horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an (G)eagle swooping down to devour.
