Leviticus 25:54

Redeeming A Poor Man

⁵³ Like a man hired year by year he shall deal with him; he shall not rule over him with harshness in your sight. ⁵⁴ Even if he is not redeemed during these years and under these provisions, then he shall go free in the Year of Jubilee, he and his children with him. ⁵⁵ For the children of Israel are My servants; My servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Year Of Jubilee

Exodus 21:2-3

“If you purchase a Hebrew servant [because of his debt or poverty], he shall serve six years, and in the seventh [year] he shall leave as a free man, paying nothing.

Leviticus 25:40-41

but he is to be with you as a hired man, as if he were a temporary resident; he shall serve with you until the Year of Jubilee,

Isaiah 49:9

Saying to those who are bound and captured, ‘Go forth,’
And to those who are in [spiritual] darkness, ‘Show yourselves [come into the light of the Savior].’
They will feed along the roads [on which they travel],
And their pastures will be on all the bare heights.

And the tyrant’s spoils of war will be rescued;
For I will contend with your opponent,

Isaiah 52:3

For the Lord says this, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed, but not with money.”
