²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was on him. ²⁶ And it happened to him, being instructed by the Holy Spirit, he was not to see death before he would see the Christ of the Lord. ²⁷ And he came by the Spirit into the temple.
