The Prophecy Of Simeon

²⁵ Now there was a man in Jerusalem of the name of Symeon, an upright and God-fearing man, who was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. ²⁶ To him it had been revealed by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death until he had seen the Lord's Anointed One. ²⁷ Led by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do with regard to Him according to the custom of the Law,
