Persecution Of Disciples Predicted

¹⁰ and then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and hate one another; ¹¹  and many false prophets shall be raised up and deceive many, ¹² and because wickedness shall abound the love of the many shall become cold:

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15

But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but within they are rapacious wolves.

Matthew 24:24

For false Christs and false prophets shall be raised up, and shall show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
