Amorite Kings Defeated

²⁸ For, a fire, hath come forth out of Heshbon, A flame, out of the stronghold of Sihon; It hath consumed Ar of Moab, The lords of the high places of Arnon. ²⁹ Woe to thee, Moab, Thou art lost, O people of Chemosh, - He hath given up his sons as fugitives, And his daughters into captivity, Unto the king of the Amorites, Sihon. ³⁰ Then we shot them - Heshbon is destroyed, as far as Dibon, - Then laid we waste as far as Nophah, A fire reacheth unto Medeba.
