So that He (A)abandoned the (B)dwelling place at Shiloh,
The tent (a)which He had pitched among men,

And gave up His (C)strength to captivity
And His glory (D)into the hand of the adversary.

He also (E)delivered His people to the sword,
And (b)was filled with wrath at His inheritance.

(F)Fire devoured (c)His young men,
And (d)His (G)virgins had no wedding songs.

(e)His (H)priests fell by the sword,
And (f)His (I)widows could not weep.
