לָכֶ֖ם

רֹ֣אשׁ

､ חֳדָשִׁ֑ים
ḥo·ḏā·šîm;
of months ､
רִאשׁ֥וֹן

the first

[shall be] to you
לְחָדְשֵׁ֖י

for the lamb ､
וְלָקַ֣ח

and let take [it]

וְכָכָה֮

And thus
תֹּאכְל֣וּ

אֹתוֹ֒

מָתְנֵיכֶ֣ם
mā·ṯə·nê·ḵem
､ חֲגֻרִ֔ים
ḥă·ḡu·rîm,
[with] a belt on ､
נַֽעֲלֵיכֶם֙
na·‘ă·lê·ḵem
､ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֔ם
bə·raḡ·lê·ḵem,
on your feet ､
וּמַקֶּלְכֶ֖ם
ū·maq·qel·ḵem
– בְּיֶדְכֶ֑ם
bə·yeḏ·ḵem;
in your hand –
וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם
wa·’ă·ḵal·tem
אֹתוֹ֙
’ō·ṯōw
it
– בְּחִפָּז֔וֹן
bə·ḥip·pā·zō·wn,
in haste –
פֶּ֥סַח
pe·saḥ
ה֖וּא
hū
it
. לַיהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
[is] Yahweh .

וְעָבַרְתִּ֣י
wə·‘ā·ḇar·tî
For I will pass
בְאֶֽרֶץ־
ḇə·’e·reṣ-
מִצְרַיִם֮
miṣ·ra·yim
בַּלַּ֣יְלָה
bal·lay·lāh
､ הַזֶּה֒
haz·zeh
this ､
וְהִכֵּיתִ֤י
wə·hik·kê·ṯî
and will strike
כָל־
ḵāl
בְּכוֹר֙
bə·ḵō·wr
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ
bə·’e·reṣ
in the land
､ מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim,
of Egypt ､
מֵאָדָ֖ם
mê·’ā·ḏām
וְעַד־
wə·‘aḏ-
and to
– בְּהֵמָ֑ה
bə·hê·māh;
beast –
וּבְכָל־
ū·ḇə·ḵāl
אֱלֹהֵ֥י
’ĕ·lō·hê
the gods
מִצְרַ֛יִם
miṣ·ra·yim
אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה
’e·‘ĕ·śeh
I will execute
– שְׁפָטִ֖ים
šə·p̄ā·ṭîm
אֲנִ֥י
’ă·nî
I
. יְהוָֽה׃

הַבָּתִּים֙

the houses
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
אַתֶּ֣ם
’at·tem
. שָׁ֔ם
šām,

וְרָאִ֙יתִי֙

and when I see
אֶת־
’eṯ-

､ הַדָּ֔ם

the blood ､
וּפָסַחְתִּ֖י

and I will pass

the plague

the land

a memorial –
וְחַגֹּתֶ֥ם
wə·ḥag·gō·ṯem
אֹת֖וֹ
’ō·ṯōw
it
חַ֣ג
ḥaḡ
as a feast
לַֽיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
– לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם
lə·ḏō·rō·ṯê·ḵem,
חֻקַּ֥ת
ḥuq·qaṯ
by an ordinance
עוֹלָ֖ם
‘ō·w·lām
. תְּחָגֻּֽהוּ׃

You shall keep it as a feast .

וּקְח֨וּ

and take

､ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

וְשַׁחֲט֥וּ

and kill
. הַפָּֽסַח׃

in the blood
אֲשֶׁר־

､ בַּסַּף֒
bas·sap̄
[is] in the basin ､
וְהִגַּעְתֶּ֤ם
wə·hig·ga‘·tem
and strike
אֶל־
’el-
הַמַּשְׁקוֹף֙
ham·maš·qō·wp̄
the lintel
וְאֶל־
wə·’el-
and
שְׁתֵּ֣י
šə·tê
הַמְּזוּזֹ֔ת

the doorposts ､

and will pass

the door ､
וְלֹ֤א

and not
יִתֵּן֙

הַמַּשְׁחִ֔ית

to come
אֶל־

בָּתֵּיכֶ֖ם

And it shall come to pass ､

just as

He promised ､
וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם

הָעֲבֹדָ֥ה

. הַזֹּֽאת׃

And it shall be ､
