brings reproach on

and he shall be cut off

､ בַּמִּשְׁמָ֑ר

under guard ､

כִּ֚י

מִחוּץ֙

､ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה

the camp ､

וַיִּרְגְּמ֥וּ

way·yir·gə·mū

אֹת֛וֹ

､ בָּאֲבָנִ֖ים

bā·’ă·ḇā·nîm

with stones ､

– וַיָּמֹ֑ת

way·yā·mōṯ;

and he died –

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

and Tell

אֲלֵהֶ֔ם

’ă·lê·hem,

וְעָשׂ֨וּ

wə·‘ā·śū

and to make

לָהֶ֥ם

lā·hem

צִיצִ֛ת

ṣî·ṣiṯ

עַל־

‘al-

on

כַּנְפֵ֥י

kan·p̄ê

בִגְדֵיהֶ֖ם

ḇiḡ·ḏê·hem

of their garments

､ לְדֹרֹתָ֑ם

lə·ḏō·rō·ṯām;

throughout their generations ､

וְנָֽתְנ֛וּ

wə·nā·ṯə·nū

and to put

עַל־

‘al-

in

צִיצִ֥ת

ṣî·ṣiṯ

הַכָּנָ֖ף

hak·kā·nāp̄

of the corners

פְּתִ֥יל

pə·ṯîl

. תְּכֵֽלֶת׃

tə·ḵê·leṯ.

וְהָיָ֣ה

wə·hā·yāh

לָכֶם֮

lā·ḵem

､ לְצִיצִת֒

lə·ṣî·ṣiṯ

the tassel ､

וּרְאִיתֶ֣ם

ū·rə·’î·ṯem

that you may look upon

אֹת֗וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

it

וּזְכַרְתֶּם֙

ū·zə·ḵar·tem

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

מִצְוֺ֣ת

miṣ·wōṯ

the commandments

､ יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

of Yahweh ､

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

and do

אֹתָ֑ם

’ō·ṯām;

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

and not

תָתֻ֜רוּ

ṯā·ṯu·rū

that you [may] follow

אַחֲרֵ֤י

’a·ḥă·rê

לְבַבְכֶם֙

lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem

וְאַחֲרֵ֣י

wə·’a·ḥă·rê

and

､ עֵֽינֵיכֶ֔ם

‘ê·nê·ḵem,

your own eyes ､

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

to which are inclined

אַתֶּ֥ם

’at·tem

– זֹנִ֖ים

zō·nîm

to prostitute yourselves –

. אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

’a·ḥă·rê·hem.

לְמַ֣עַן

lə·ma·‘an

､ תִּזְכְּר֔וּ

tiz·kə·rū,

you may remember ､

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

and do

אֶת־

’eṯ-

כָּל־

kāl-

､ מִצְוֺתָ֑י

miṣ·wō·ṯāy;

My commandments ､

וִהְיִיתֶ֥ם

and be

קְדֹשִׁ֖ים

. לֵֽאלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
