'Jesus Christ' in the Bible
Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
that you may distinguish between things that differ, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Jesus Christ,
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
so that the whole court and publick are well appriz'd that I am a prisoner upon the account of Jesus Christ.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
for we [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, set apart for His purpose and] are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory and take pride and exult in Christ Jesus and place no confidence [in what we have or who we are] in the flesh—
nay I think them disadvantages when put in competition with the excellency of the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord: for whose sake I abandon all these things, and count them as straw, that I may gain Christ,
Not that I have secured it yet, or already reached perfection, but I am pressing on to see if I can capture it, because I have been captured by Jesus Christ.
I am pressing onward toward the goal, to win the prize to which God through Jesus Christ is calling us upward.
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
and the favour of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall keep your hearts and mind attach'd to Jesus Christ.
My God fulfill all your needs through his glorious riches in Jesus Christ.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
