'Raised Their Voices' in the Bible
and raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
When they heard this, they all raised their voices to God and said, “Master, You are the One who made the heaven, the earth, and the sea, and everything in them.
And [when] the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices in the Lycaonian language, saying, "The gods have become like men [and] have come down to us!"
They listened to Paul until [he made] this [last] statement, but now they raised their voices and shouted, “Away with such a man from the earth! He is not fit to live!”
and he uttered a great shout like the roar of a lion; and when he shouted, the seven thunders raised their voices.
