'Take Pleasure In' in the Bible

Let all those who take pleasure in my troubles be shamed and come to nothing: let those who are lifted up against me be covered with shame and have no honour.

Take pleasure in Yahweh as well, and he will give to you the requests of your heart.

But [the] afflicted will possess [the] land, and they will take pleasure in an abundance of peace.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;

When thou sawest a thief, thou didst take pleasure in him, and thy portion was with adulterers;

For thou wilt not delight in sacrifice, and thou wilt not take pleasure in burnt-offering.

They only plan to bring him downfrom his high position.They take pleasure in lying;they bless with their mouths,but they curse inwardly.Selah

Rebuke the beast in the reeds,the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples.Trample underfoot those with bars of silver.Scatter the peoples who take pleasure in war.

Help me stay on the path of Your commands,for I take pleasure in it.

He does not delight in the strength (military power) of the horse,Nor does He take pleasure in the legs (strength) of a man.
