'Thorns and Thistles' in the Bible

Israel’s Light will become a fire,and its Holy One, a flame.In one day it will burn up Assyria’s thorns and thistles.

My people's field shall bring thorns and thistles, for in every house is voluptuousness; and in the cities, willfulness.
