one stage of Israel in the wilderness, "a land of torrents of waters" (Nu 33:33; De 10:7). Now wady Tabah, six miles S.W. of the head of the Elanitic gulf of the Red Sea, abounding in water, tamarisks, and palms. Robinson calls it wady el Adhbeh, a sandy plain descending into wady el Jerafeh; next Gudgodah or Horhagidgad.
