KIRIATH is the st. constr. of Kiriah, the complement of which, -jearim, seems to have fallen out in Jos 18:28, from its resemblance to the word for 'cities' which follows. Therefore we ought probably to read Kiriath-jearim, a reading supported by the Septuagint.
