For he must rule until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

this Priest, after offering one Sacrifice for sins, sat down forever on God's right hand; henceforth waiting until his enemies be put as the footstool of his feet.

He is the head of his Body, the Church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that in all things he may become preeminent.
