Then they spit in His face and hit Him [with their fists], while others slapped Him [in the face],
And they blindfolded Him and asked Him, "Prophesy, who is it that hit you?"
Jesus answered him, "If I have said anything wrong, tell me what it was. But if [I spoke] properly, why did you hit me?"
