And ye fathers, do not exasperate your children, but rear them in the training and admonition of Lord.
These things I have spoken to you, so that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye have tribulation. But cheer up, I have overcome the world.
Lo, sons are a heritage of LORD, [and] the fruit of the womb is [a] reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the sons of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They shall not be put to shame when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, so that they may not be discouraged.
