For the sake of food, destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offense.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean by itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all kinds of food.

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp to a clean place.

And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there are, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, and of brazen vessels, and tables.

And the Lord said to him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. And almost all things are by the law cleansed with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness towards the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

Then set it empty upon its coals, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be melted in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
