15 Bible Verses about Cleansing The Body

And now what art thou about to do having risen, be immersed and wash away thy sins, having called upon the name of the Lord.

Let us approach with a true heart in complete certainty of faith, having our hearts besprinkled from an evil consciousness, and having our bodies washed with pure water.

By which also the figure, immersion, now saves us (not by laying aside of the filth of the flesh, but the question of a good. consciousness toward God,) by the rising up of Jesus Christ:

Jesus says to him, Truly, truly, I say to thee, Except any one be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot come into the kingdom of God.

For as many of you as were immersed into Christ have put on Christ.

And were all immersed into Moses in the cloud, and in the sea;

And, behold, a leper, having come, worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt thou canst cleanse me.

Not of works in justice which we did; but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renovation of the Holy Spirit;

If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just that he let go sins to us, and cleanse us from all injustice.

Create for me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit in my midst,

For this is the will of God, your consecration, that ye should keep away from fornication: For each of you to know how to possess his vessel in consecration and honour; Not in the passion of eager desire, as also the nations not knowing God:

Thou wilt purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: thou wilt wash me and I shall be white above snow.

That he might consecrate it, having cleansed by the washing of water in the word,

Flee fornication. Every sin which if a man do is without the body; but he committing fornication sins against his own body.

And I sprinkled clean waters upon you, and ye were cleansed: from all your uncleannesses and from all your blocks will I cleanse you.
