And I heard a voice out of heaven, saying to me, Write: From henceforth happy are the dead who die in the Lord: Yea (saith the Spirit) that they may rest from their labours. Their works follow them.
We behave undauntedly, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and present with the Lord.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I am to live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour, and what I should chuse, I know not. For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, for it is far better.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon, with our house which is from heaven: If being clothed, we shall not be found naked.
