Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in by it. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth to life, and few there are that find it.
I am the door: by me if any man shall enter he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter into it, and they to whom it was first preached entered not because of unbelief:
Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Wherefore, if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to sin, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire.
And if thy eye causeth thee to sin, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell-fire.
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit to life eternal: that both he that soweth, and he that reapeth, may rejoice together.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keep it to life eternal.
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my name's sake, shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
But he shall receive a hundred-fold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come, eternal life.
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall from the Spirit reap life everlasting.
