All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
and the second is like it, even this, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself:" there is no other commandment greater than these.
Let love be unfeigned. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good; be tenderly affected with brotherly love to each other, in honor preferring one another:
And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith.
having been the wife of one man: in repute for good actions, if she have educated children, if she have entertained strangers, if she have washed the feet of saints, if she have relieved the afflicted, and diligently followed every good work.
Finally, my beloved, be unanimous, be sympathizing, love as brethren, be compassionate, be courteous:

that thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father, who seeth in secret, will himself reward thee openly.
but I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be obnoxious to the council; but whosoever shall say, "Thou fool," shall be in danger of hell-fire.
Finally my brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are venerable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are friendly, whatever things are reputable, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think of these things:
Then desire having conceived bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death.
crying out, and saying, "Sirs, why do ye these things? we also are men subject to the like infirmities with you, and we preach the gospel unto you, that ye may turn from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea,

But above all, my brethren, swear not; neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor any other oath: but let your yea be yea, and your nay nay; that ye may not fall under condemnation.
But Peter, and the other apostles, answered, and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord:
so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. And therefore what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
But those that are married, not I command, but the Lord, that the wife be not separated from her husband; (but if she separate, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband;) and that the husband put not away his wife.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as becometh you in the Lord: and ye husbands, love your wives, and be not embittered against them.
Ye women likewise, be subject to your own husbands, that if any believe not the word, they may yet without the word be gained over by the deportment of the wives,
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honour thy father and thy mother, (which is the first commandment with promise,) that it may be well with thee, and thou shalt be long-lived upon the earth.read more.
And ye fathers, do not exasperate your children: but educate them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Children, obey your parents in all things; for this is well-pleasing to the Lord: and ye fathers, do not irritate your children, least they be discouraged.
not covetous, governing his own family well, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
But if any widow have children or grandchildren, let these learn first to shew piety at home, and to make suitable returns to their parents: for this is becoming, and acceptable in the sight of God.
But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath renounced the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Servants, be obedient in all things to your lawful masters, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in uprightness of heart, fearing God; and whatever service ye do,
and ye masters, render to your servants justice and equity, knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
Servants, obey them that are your masters according to the flesh, with reverential fear, in the simplicity of your heart, as unto Christ:
Let as many as are servants under the yoke account their own masters worthy of all honor; that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed:
Exhort servants to submit to their masters, to be obsequious in all things,
Ye who are servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and mild, but also to the morose:
