His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire." And with many other exhortations he preached good news to the people. But Herod the tetrarch, being rebuked by him concerning Herodias, his brother's wife, and for all the other evil things Herod had done, added this to them all, that he shut up John in prison.

We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
