He that spared not his own Son, But freely delivered him up for us all, How shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

All nature even is waiting with eager longing for the unveiling of the vision of God's sons. Then summoning the crowd to him, with his disciples. he said: "If any man wishes to follow me, let him renounce self, take up his cross, and so follow me.
And he said to all. "If any man wills to follow me, Let him renounce self and take up his cross daily and follow me.
"None of you know what you are asking," said Jesus. "Can you drink the cup which I am about to drink?" "We can," they replied. My cup you indeed shall drink," he answered, "but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant, but belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
"You know not what you are asking," said Jesus. "Can you drink the cup that I drink, or be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" They answered him, "We can." "You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism that I am baptized with shall you be baptized,
For it has been granted you in Christ's behalf, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake,
For this is your calling; because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps;
