And like as the rain and snow cometh down from heaven, and returneth not thither again, but watereth the earth, maketh it fruitful and green, that it may give corn and bread unto the sower:
He that findeth the sower seed, shall minister bread for food, and shall multiply your seed, and increase the fruits of your righteousness - that on all parts
but doeth right unto the fatherless and widow and loveth the stranger, to give him food and raiment.
who helpeth them to right that suffer wrong; who feedeth the hungry. The LORD looseth men out of prison;
And he will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle: and thou shalt eat and fill thyself.
Then will he give rain to the seed that ye shall sow in the earth, and give you bread of the increase of the earth, so that all shall be plenteous and abundant. Thy cattle also shall he feed in the broad meadows;
The poor shall eat, and be satisfied: they that seek after the LORD shall praise him. Your heart shall live for ever.
Thou bringest food out of the earth: wine to make glad the heart of man, oil to make him a cheerful countenance and bread to strengthen man's heart.
He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the flour of wheat.
And she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold: which they bestowed upon Baal.
I led them with cords of friendship, and with bands of love. I was even he, that laid the yoke upon their necks. I gave them their fodder myself,
And the LORD answered and said unto his people, "Behold, I sent you corn, new wine and oil, that ye shall be satisfied therewith. Neither will I deliver you any more unto the heathen.
These wait all upon thee, that thou mayest give them meat in due season.
The eyes of all wait upon thee, O LORD; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things living with plenteousness.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither reap, nor yet carry into the barns, and yet your heavenly father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which neither have storehouse nor barn, and yet God feedeth them. How much are ye better then the fowls?
Who provideth meat for the raven, when his young ones cry unto God, and fly about for want of meat?
Thou smitest the heads of Leviathan in pieces, and givest him to be meat for the people in the wilderness.
For they spake against God, and said, "Yea yea, God shall prepare a table in the wilderness, shall he?
Lo, he smote the stony rock, that the watery streams gushed out, and the streams flowed withal: but how can he give bread and provide flesh for his people?"
Wherefore now will I go take my corn and wine again in their season, and fet again my wool and my flax, which I gave her to cover her shame.
The LORD hath sworn by his righthand and by his strong arm, that he will not give thy corn any more to be eaten of thine enemies: and that aliens shall not drink thy new wine wherefore thou hast laboured.
