And he went round the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the glad tidings of God,
And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the glad tidings to the whole creation.
And the angel said to them, Fear not; for lo! I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to the whole people; for to you hath been born this day, in the city of David, a Saviour, who is the Christ, the Lord.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in thy truth; thy word is truth. As thou didst send me into the world, I also sent them into the world.
Jesus therefore said, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then ye will know that I am He, and do nothing of myself, but speak these things as the Father taught me.
Because I have not spoken from myself; but the Father who sent me hath himself committed to me what I should say, and what I should speak; and I know that what he hath committed to me is everlasting life. What I speak therefore, I speak as the Father hath directed me.
Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not from myself; but the Father, who dwelleth in me, doeth his works.
It is the spirit which maketh alive; the flesh profiteth nothing. The words which I have spoken to you are spirit, and are life.
Truly, truly do I say to thee, We speak that which we know, and testify that which we have seen; and ye receive not our testimony. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how will ye believe if I tell you heavenly things? And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he who came down from heaven, even the Son of man.read more.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up that every one who believeth in him may have everlasting life.
of which I became a minister, according to the stewardship which God entrusted to me, for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which hath been hidden for ages and generations, but hath been now revealed to his saints; to whom it was the will of God to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;
For there is no difference between Jew and Greek; for one and the same is Lord over all, rich to all that call upon him. For "every one who calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to make known among the gentiles the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of Christ,
according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.
But I count life of no value to me, so that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the glad tidings of the grace of God.
