The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceases: he has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man.
Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel in which is no pleasure? why are they cast out, he and his descendants, and are cast into a land which they know not?

For my iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds are foul and are corrupt because of my foolishness. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak, and be blameless when you judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
But now the LORD has spoken, saying, Within three years, like the years of a hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be despised, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
For, lo, I will make you small among the nations, and despised among men.
It shall be the lowest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knows not such things as these?
Let no man despise your youth; but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one that is perfect shall be as his teacher.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for an example to them who should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and another third kingdom of bronze, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
