10 Bible Verses about Obeying Jesus

Jesus answered and said to him, If any man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make a dwelling with him.

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who believed him, If ye remain in my word, ye are truly my disciples,

He who has my commandments, and keeps them, that man it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Greater love has no man than this, that some man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do as many things as I command you. I no longer call you bondmen, because the bondman does not know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, because all things that I heard from my Father, I made known to you.

And by this we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

and whatever we may ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do things pleasing in his sight.

And he who keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, from the Spirit that he gave us.

For this is the love of God, that we may keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
