In the past God spoke to our fathers by the prophets at many times and in various ways,

Now at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. One of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius.

Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said.

As we were staying there for some days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
