Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, gives you. You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book. If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you by the grace of Christ to a different "good news"; and there is not another "good news." The LORD's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your Law is truth.

But he who looks into the perfect Law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

LAMED. LORD, your word is settled in heaven forever.

For truly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the Law, until all things are accomplished.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

For, "All flesh is like grass, and all it's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls; but the word of the Lord endures forever." This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

The voice of one saying, "Cry." One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, because the LORD's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass. The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of the LORD stands forever."
