[A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.] O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongues fail for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
