Therefore must ye be very firm to observe and to do all that is written in the scroll of the law of Moses, - so as not to turn aside therefrom, to the right hand or to the left;
This scroll of the law must not cease out of thy mouth, but thou must talk to thyself therein, day and night, that thou mayest take heed to do according to all that is written therein, - for, then, shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and, then, shalt thou have good success.

On that day, a portion, was read in the book of Moses, in the ears of the people, - and it was found written therein, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not enter into the convocation of God, unto times age-abiding; because they met not the sons of Israel, with bread and with water, - but hired against them Balaam, to curse them, although our God turned the curse into a blessing. So it came to pass, when they had heard the law, - that they separated all the mixed multitude from Israel.

Then they who are in Judaea, let them flee into the mountains, and they who are in her midst, let them go forth, - and they who are in the fields, let them not enter into her; For, days of avenging, are, these, for all the things written to be fulfilled. Alas! for the women with child, and for them who are giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and anger against this people.
But it is, easier, for heaven and earth to pass away, than that, of the law, one little point, should fail.
And, for this cause, we, are also giving thanks unto God unceasingly, that, when ye received a spoken word from us - which was God's, ye welcomed it - not as a human word, but, even as it truly is, a divine word, - which is also inwardly working itself in you who believe.
