And when they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

(12:18) and he stood upon the sand of the sea. (13:1) And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.

And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of the names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority; and I saw one of his heads, as if smitten to death. And his death-stroke was healed; and all the earth wondered after the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to make war with him?"read more.
And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and authority was given him to work forty-two months. And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name, and His Tabernacle, even those dwelling in Heaven. And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.

And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the founding of a world.

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which has been mingled undiluted in the cup of His anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and before the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.

And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and there came a baneful and painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them; and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God; and such as worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom became darkened; and they were gnawing their tongues because of the pain; and they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

And the angel said to me, "Why did you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And those who dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the founding of the world, when they behold the beast, that he was, and is not, and shall come. Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.read more.
And there are seven kings; the five fell, and the one is, the other did not yet come. And, when he comes, he must remain a little time. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is an eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition. And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who, indeed, received no kingdom as yet; but they receive authority as kings, one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them; because He is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful."

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war with Him Who was sitting on the horse, and with His army. And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image. The two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
