To make the weight for the wind; and he apportions the waters by measure. When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

And he said unto them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Teacher, Teacher, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Who gives rain upon the earth, and sends waters upon the fields:

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not torn under them. He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it.

At this also my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place. Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth. He directs it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.read more.
After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not restrain them when his voice is heard. God thunders marvelously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend. For he says to the snow, Be on the earth; likewise to the gentle rain, and to the heavy rain of his strength. He seals up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. Out of the south comes the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. By the breath of God ice is given: and the broad waters are frozen. Also with moisture he loads the thick cloud: he scatters his bright cloud: And it is turned around by his guidance: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the whole earth. He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. Do you know when God dispatched them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine? Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is blameless in knowledge? How your garments are warm, when he quiets the earth by the south wind? Have you with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten mirror?

He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.

Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his storehouses.

The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell from where it came, and where it goes: so is everyone that is born of the Spirit.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. For he makes small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to its vapor: Which the clouds do drop and pour upon man abundantly.read more.
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the thunder of his tabernacle? Behold, he spreads his lightning upon it, and covers the depths of the sea. For by them judges he the people; he gives food in abundance. With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes between. Who has divided a channel for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, in which there is no man; To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender grass to spring forth? And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in its due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle, that you may eat and be full.

The LORD shall open unto you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you shall lend unto many nations, and you shall not borrow.

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season: he reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there arises a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare your chariot, and get you down, that the rain stops you not.

Thus I was; in the day the heat consumed me, and the cold by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes.

And the native people showed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the open square before the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and because of the heavy rain.

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God has fallen from heaven, and has burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone am escaped to tell you.

Saying, These last have worked but one hour, and you have made them equal unto us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her be driven.
