'Abased' in the Bible
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Is it a sin that I abased myself in order for you to be exalted, in that I proclaimed God's Good News to you without fee or reward?
