'Accompany' in the Bible

As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was imploring Him that he might accompany Him.

He did not let anyone accompany Him except Peter, James, and John, James’s brother.

Looking at him, Jesus felt a love (high regard, compassion) for him, and He said to him, “You lack one thing: go and sell all your property and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have [abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”

They used to accompany him and care for him while he was in Galilee. Many other women who had come up to Jerusalem with him were there, too.
