'Alienated' in the Bible
You see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but almost all over [the province of] Asia, this Paul has persuaded [people to believe his teaching] and has misled a large number of people, claiming that gods made by [human] hands are not really gods at all.
You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.
that ye were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God, in the world;
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
